In addition, the material of Glyd ring is a very wear-resistant Tecon material, and special additives are added to make it have good rigidity to keep the seal shape from deforming under harsh conditions. Tecon material is almost resistant to all chemicals except liquid alkali, potassium carbonate and halides. The life span is hardly affected by ozone conditions under sunlight exposure, and the water absorption rate is 0.01%. Tecon materials have extremely high compressive strength and hardness, good thermal conductivity, electrical insulation, and wear resistance, and can withstand high mechanical loads, working pressures, and movement speeds.

The main function of the wear ring is to provide precise guidance and absorb radial forces. At the same time, since the wear ring is made of reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene, it can prevent metal contact between sliding parts in the hydraulic cylinder. Compared with metal wear rings, non-metallic wear rings have many advantages: good wear resistance and avoid metal-to-metal contact. It can suppress mechanical vibrations and allow larger gaps due to the centering effect of the wear ring. Good dustproof effect can prevent the entry of external particles.
