    1. Performance and use

    O-rings are the most used seals in actual production and life, which can seal one-way pressure, two-way pressure or alternating pressure.

    It is mainly used for static seals, and a small part of dynamic seals (often pneumatic reciprocating motion) are also used. In dynamic applications, it is only recommended for better conditions. In rotary motion, if the pressure is low and the lubrication is sufficient, it can be recommended.

    The service life of O-rings depends on factors such as system lubrication, pressure, temperature, sealing gap, speed, medium and surface quality of metal parts.

    Wide range of materials, all kinds of rubber, plastic and even metal can be used as O-ring seal materials. Therefore, its medium adaptability and temperature adaptability are extremely wide.

    Small mounting groove size.

    Simple structure and low price.


    2. Materials

    Now the commonly used materials are NBR (butadiene rubber) and FKM (fluorine rubber). NBR is used for ordinary working conditions, mainly oil-proof and waterproof; FKM is mainly used for working conditions with high temperature (<160°C).

    3. Performance parameters

    Work pressureWithout retaining ring, up to 10MPa; with retaining ring, up to 40MPa; with special retaining ring, up to 200MPa;When there is no retaining ring, the maximum pressure can reach 0.5MPa; when there is a retaining ring, the maximum pressure is 1MPa.
    Movement speed-The maximum reciprocating speed can reach 0.3m/s, and the maximum rotation speed can reach 2.0m/s.
    TemperatureNitrile rubber NBR: -30℃~110℃; Fluorine rubber FKM: -20℃~160℃
