How to Seal Porous Wall Tiles

Porous wall bricks like Terracotta Warriors actually absorb water when wet.This moisture absorption will eventually lead to deterioration of the tile and, over time, damage to the water inside the wall behind the tile.There is no need to seal because the tile is glazed, but the Porous tile is like this, especially in the use of highWet areas like shower or bathtub.Sealing prevents water absorption and damage to walls.Clean the tiles first and remove dirt, sand and dirt.Use a sponge in the bucket with a soap water solution and rinse it clean with clear water.After this process, the tiles are allowed to dry completely.Since the Porous tile absorbs moisture and needs to be completely dried, it can take a few days.Pour some acrylic tile sealer into the container.The hardware store has a tile seal.The acrylic type is used because it is easier to use than a seal using mineral spirits and does not produce any toxic smoke.Dip the sponge into the sealer, starting at the top of the wall, and wipe the sealer on the tile.Work steadily down until the entire wall is covered.Let the sealer soak in the tile for a few minutes.Wipe the coated tiles with a wet sponge.This will remove the excess sealant from the surface of the tile and the grouting line.After wiping, let the seal dry.Apply the second coat in the same way as the first coat.Let the extra things soak in and wipe clean.
